Field of Research

My research focuses on the field of intelligent machine elements. The goal is to enable machine elements to measure their state of health and to make this information available in the machine's system so that the machine can react to it. This should also enable Condition Monitoring, Condition Based Maintenance / Predictive Maintenance.

Main Research Topics

  • Intelligent machine elements
  • Measurement, data analysis and data utilization
  • Reliability assessment
