In complex systems, which are developed today under high cost pressure, it is important to know the relationships of the fulfilled function with the shape of the components. These interrelationships are often found in the details of the design. There are methods such as the C&C² approach that can be used to build the necessary understanding of the system - but investigating their effectiveness is difficult.

Task:

Your task is to optimize and conduct an existing experimental study so that it can be conducted on a larger scale. To do this, you will develop a method test bed in a suitable online tool and implement the experimental study there. The execution and evaluation of this study will conclude the thesis. If this master thesis is successfully completed, there is subsequently the possibility to continue the research project in the context of an assistant doctorate at IPEK.

  • You are studying mechanical engineering or mechatronics and have heard MKL 1-4.
  • You work purposefully and independently.
  • You enjoy designing and working with people.
  • Interest in system analysis with the C&C² approach and methodical approach.
