Modellierung der Systemzuverlässigkeit in der Kreislauffabrik

Modelling system reliability in the circular factory

Our vision

At the Chair of Power Tools and Machine Elements, we focus our research on the field of data-driven product development. The aim of our research and development activities is to support the design and testing of mechatronic systems with application-orientated methods and solutions. We work closely with partners from industry to find solutions to specific problems and drive innovation. We utilise both simulative and experimental approaches for implementation. In doing so, we utilise the IPEK's first-class equipment with numerous test benches, modern measurement technology and simulation tools.

Your mission with us

Scientific excellence
Contribute to sustainability. The aim is to predict the reliability of subsystems and systems in the circular factory. Reliability refers to the probability that a component, subsystem or system will fulfil a required function under given conditions over a defined period of time. This is necessary for deciding how a product should be processed in the circular factory for use in the next utilisation phase.
The focus is on the design and construction of the test rig, the modelling of reliability and the development of methods and systems to collect the data necessary to parameterise the reliability models.
Participate in national and international conferences and network with leading experts to present your results to a global research community. The scientific goal in our team is a doctoral degree.

Link connecting research and industry
Immerse yourself in exciting research and development activities, realised through dynamic collaborations with leading companies. Take on responsibility in your projects and seize the opportunity to help shape ground-breaking innovations.
