AI as a Driver of Future Mobility

AI as a Driver of Future Mobility

Future mobility systems are undergoing profound transformation. Artificial intelligence is emerging as a key enabling technology—ranging from autonomous vehicles and intelligent traffic management to novel mobility services. The objective of this thesis is to systematically assess and critically evaluate the current state of research in this domain.

Your Tasks

Within this thesis, you will conduct a systematic literature review on the topic “AI as a Driver of Future Mobility.” You will analyze and structure existing research from multiple perspectives, including technical aspects (e.g., machine learning and autonomous systems), system and application contexts (e.g., traffic management and multimodal mobility), as well as societal and regulatory dimensions (e.g., acceptance, ethics, and governance). The goal is to identify key trends, challenges, and research gaps, and to synthesize the findings in a scientifically rigorous manner.
